Fall Midget Fun

October 13, 2008

So School has kept me on my toes, so this weekend I decided it was time for a little fun.  Sat morning I woke up early and headed out to Hillsboro to meet a few friends at the Roloff Farms Pumpkin patch. I’m going straight to hell, because just as we pulled into the parking lot, one of the younger “little people” was sprinting all out across the lawn, and I’m sorry, but watching a midget full-on sprint is hysterically awesome and made my little grinch heart glow with happiness. We took the full tour, I petted the 75 lb tortoise (eat your heart out girl wonder!) and I took home a couple decent sized pumpkins to carve up a little closer to Halloween.  After I got my fill of midgets, pumpkins, and sun, M and I headed to the fabric store, where I selected the stuff she is going to sew into my Santa Costume for santacon this year.  I am seriously going to be an awesome standout sexy santa  for the 1,000 or so folks that join the Santa rampage this year, cuz its never too early to plan.

Sun I woke up early to meet a boy for coffee and was pleasantly surprised.  One of my craigslist introductions, so I was skeptical about his attractiveness but he was tall as promised, good looking, and looked just like his pic, and was interesting to talk to. After coffee, I was in my best betty-crocker mood and whipped up a batch of pumpkin muffins for a test run o this upcoming weekend, and to save time attempted to use the cream cheese in a can frosting, which I should clarify is supposedly “cream cheese flavored” which is DEFINITELY not the same.  well-noted for when I make batch 2 this Friday.
